Welcome

We are very happy to welcome you to Tredworth Infant and Nursery Academy’s website.  Here, new and prospective parents and families can get an insight into our brilliant school, while our existing school community can find practical information such as curriculum overviews ,lunch options and our regular newsletters.

Our strap line of ‘Be proud, Be brilliant, Belong’ is more than a banner on our website or the mosaic murals that greet you at the gates, it denotes the deep connection between belonging and representation. The connection between representation and belonging is an innate one and is something that underpins every decision we make.  It is echoed in our curriculum, giving children opportunities to be proud of themselves and what they can achieve, enabling them to do their best and be a part of our school and wider community.

Our Vision Statement; 'to nurture, develop and teach our children in an inclusive community that encourages everyone to do their best'  as well as our values of;  Friendship, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility, Courage, Resilience and Pride, intertwine to create our school Ethos.

We believe children learn best when they are enjoying themselves and their learning is targeted to their needs and interests.  This underpins our new curriculum which aims to teach our children the life skills they need, including Social awareness, Mental health and wellbeing, English and Maths,  We have tried to ensure it is representative of our children and community and builds on where the children are and what they know, while being aspirational and introducing them to wider experiences, preparing them for life in the future.

Our caring and supportive ethos encourages our children to grow into successful, happy and kind citizens.  We have a dedicated staff team made up of individuals who place the child at the heart of everything they do. Staff work together to ensure high expectations of academic achievement and behaviour.

Building strong relationships with parents and families is also an important aspect of our work and ethos.  This is an area we want to grow to become a hub in the community, offering services and  pastoral support to our families.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me or any member of the school administration team who will be happy to help you.

We look forward to welcoming you to our amazing school.
