Welcome Back!

I would like to begin by extending a very warm "welcome" and "welcome back" to all our children and their families. I hope that you all are feeling refreshed and energised for the new and exciting academic year ahead. We are all deeply proud and privaliged to be part of our amazing Tredworth Infand and Nursery Academy School family. Together with our parents, carers and wider school community we provide a nurturing and caring environment in which all of our children thrive and develop a love of lifelong learning. We look forward to working in continued partnership with you to provide the very best outcomes for all of our children and families.

The school holidays provided the time and opportunity to maintain and develop some areas of our school both inside and out and we are certainly looking forward to working with Gloucester City Homes who are developing a wonderful "wellbeing" zone in our Keys Stage 1 playground. We are looking forward to the enhancements of our playground and the creation of a quiet reflective space for our children to access.

Last year we successfully introduced "Class Dojo" an App for communicating with parents. The school admin team and teachers can send messages to parents which can be translated into home languages which supports our communications with our parents and whole school community. If you need help to set up this App please do come to speak with Mrs Valente in the school office who will happily assist you. Please do note that Class Doho provides us with the opportunity to share the learning/key messages with parents and is not designed for a two way commincation with teachers. Communications from parents on the App will not be responded to, please always speak to the teachers or admin team who will be happy to assist.

We look forward to an amazing new term.

Welcome to Tredworth Infant & Nursery Academy

Based in inner city Gloucester, we are a school which prides itself on its welcoming, inclusive ethos where the richness of our diverse school community is celebrated in a positive atmosphere based on mutual respect. Children are given a moral compass through our six school values of caring, courage, friendship, honesty, respect and responsibility and a solid foundation in their education. We value children for their individuality and encourage and inspire them to become good learners and achieve their best.

Thank you for visiting our website where you will find a range of information to give you a flavour of our wonderful school.

We are delighted to announce that Tredworth Infant and Nursery Academy has been selected to receive a 'Community Project' from Gloucester City Homes. Each year Gloucester City Homes receive bids from a wide variety of local organisations who submit project proposals and we are thrilled that we have been successful in this process.

On Friday 13th September 2019, Gloucester City Homes will commence work on a 'Wellbeing' zone in our Key Stage one playground. This will include a pond dipping area, raised beds for growing fruits and vegetables, a bug hotel, a quiet reflective area to sit.

We are so thrilled with this exciting news and will update you all on progress. The children are now hard at work on their designs.
