Wearable Art Competition and Catwalk

Throughout the summer term we have been working in partnership with Create Gloucestershire.

Create Gloucesterhsire is an organisation that works with young people, schools and chairites to develop skills and knowledge in all the art forms. Children across the school have enjoyed taking part in a weekly dance lesson led by one of their experienced dance and movement teachers exploring many different ways to move and self-express.

Throughout June children have had the opportunity to get involved with the Wearable Art Project. The children made wonderful, fantasy costumes in workshops at school and were invited to take part in the fashion show at Gloucester Cathedral.

This was a wonderful event and Ms Shipp (Deputy Head Teacher) said "The children were truly amazing, they stole the show!"

Tredworth Infant Zebra

As part of this years Cheltenham Literature Festival, there will be an Elmer and Friends Trail. We were one of ten schools selected to create an Elmer as part of this Festival. Children from Key Stage 1 and Reception children, with the support of Debbie from The Creation Station, enjoyed creating this vibrant picture. Well done to all who participated!

You will be able to see this and others in October (dates to follow).

World Book Day

Thursday 7th March 2019 was World Book Day. Children (with help from parents) made a fantastic effort dressing up as their favourite book character. Staff too, dressed up as the characters from their Class Book.

Over the week the class have been doing different activities relating to their class book. Teachers read their class book to each class thoughout the school. The children really enjoyed this and at the end of the week voted for their favourite. The winner was Zebra Class with Not Lost.
