School Lunch changes from September

From September, at dinner time, as well as providing a choice of hot meals, or a panini's etc we will also be providing a selection of sandwiches.
Research shows that children make more progress if they have eaten the right nutritional lunch.

Only 1% of packed lunches provide the correct nutrition.

Children are better prepared for learning if they eat well.

Eating hot dinners is an important social occasion and the children learn vital social skills.

Because of this we will have a ‘no lunchbox’ policy and all children will have a school meal or sandwich, unless there are medical reasons why they should not, please supply evidence of this when you speak to the class teacher.

We cater for a range of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and halal.
